A Private Pediatric Practice on Floyd Road Since 1991
Choosing a pediatrician is a significant decision for your family. You need a physician who recognizes your child in the hallway and remembers the details of their last visit without opening a chart. Since 1991, from our single location at 1112 N. Floyd Road, we have provided that continuity of care.
Our greatest measure of success is when parents who first came here as children now bring their own. That multi-generational trust is the foundation of our practice. We are not a large, rotating group of associates. We are Dr. Porter and Dr. Galloway, and we have been a fixture for families from Richardson Heights, Canyon Creek, and the surrounding 75080 neighborhoods for decades.
Our Approach to Pediatric Care
Our philosophy is centered on a proactive and collaborative partnership with you. We believe the best healthcare happens when a knowledgeable medical team works hand-in-hand with an empowered family, focusing on preventative care to keep your child healthy and responsive when acute illnesses arise.
This belief extends to our practice environment. We intentionally designed our Richardson office to be a calm, welcoming, and efficient space. We respect your time, which is why we have a strict no-waiting-room policy—you are brought directly to a private room upon arrival. This thoughtful approach, combined with easy accessibility, ensures every visit is a positive one for both you and your child.
Our Physicians Have Decades of Experience in North Texas Pediatrics
Finding the right Richardson pediatric practice can be challenging. Unlike larger pediatric associates, we focus on a personal connection with every patient. We make it easy for new and current patients to join our family. You can find our patient forms online and view our office hours to schedule a visit. During your appointment, we’ll discuss a personalized vaccinations and immunizations patient plan to ensure your child’s health is always the top priority. We are committed to providing dedicated, individual care that puts your family first.

Laura Galloway, MD
Dr. Laura Galloway joined our practice in 2012. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Dallas and earned her Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
