Our History

John R. Porter, MD, has been providing children’s healthcare from the same location since 1991. His compassionate and calming demeanor embodies the type of practice he runs and offers a comfortable place to care for your child’s healthcare needs.

For over 30 years, we have provided our community with personalized care. Some of Dr. Porter’s past patients now bring their own children in, so you know you can rely on us to have your best interests in mind. We understand that each child is unique and so we focus on an individualized approach to care.

Our Services

From shortly after birth through adolescence, Dr. Porter is there to help your children develop and stay healthy. Raising healthy kids can be stressful for parents, but we want to provide you with a space where you can feel comfortable and ask any questions you have. We are here to help with everything from a simple cold to an urgent emergency and everything in between. We also offer child wellness visits to evaluate the growth and development of your child. If your child needs a vaccine, we can also take care of that. We use the American Academy of Pediatrics’ schedule to determine when to administer vaccines.
